Hong Sooah: ''APink Bomi's first pitch? It was more incredible than Hongdro.''


Hong Sooah gained national popularity after an iconic first pitch in 2005. Since then she received the nickname Hongdro; combination of her surname and the name of Hall of Fame pitcher Pedro Martinez. This was not only due to her impressive pitch but the overall cultural impact with regards to the tradition of celebrities performing the first pitch in baseball games.

On August 20th Hong Sooah met with the reporter and praised Bomi for her pitching style. Sooah said, "Recently I encountered an acquaintance who told me that APink's Bomi made a first pitch that is being talked about online. Later I searched for the clip and I was incredibly surprised by her steady pitching and windup posture that was like that of a real player."

Sooah also added that Bomi apparently had the insight to make herself sturdy while throwing the ball vigorously towards the catcher's mitt. Instead of opting to simply look pretty for her pitch, it was evident that she wanted to do her best. The reaction of her efforts were clear from the loud cheers for her.

1. Bomi's first pitch was indeed excellent but you don't need Hongdro's help to say so.. Even though Hong Sooah has a quiet demeanor she's actually a lot more complex..there is nothing wrong with plastic surgery but doing it to this extent makes me want to criticize her for it..
