On February 25th Cosmic Girls debuted with their mini-album Would You Like? (a play on their Korean name Wu Ju So Nyeo) and with title track MOMOMO. Member Luda will celebrate her 19th birthday; she was born on March 6, 1997.
Q: What will you do for your birthday? How do you think your birthday will go like?
A: I will probably just have my schedule. Afterward I hope to have a chance to eat delicious food with my members.
Q: How does it feel having your birthday right after your debut?
A: It doesn't feel I like had my debut yet, so it's slightly puzzling. In the past the normal thing would be to spend my birthday with family, but because this time it is with my members and the fans I met, it feels a little bit different. At the same time I also miss my family.
Q: What does a birthday mean to you?
A: It is a day in which a mother suffered for you. When my birthday comes I like to boil seaweed for my family, and I also share it with friends. Rather than being the one who is treated, I want it to be a day when I take care of others. I tell them this the day I was born.
Q: What are your thoughts about growing old?
A: When I young I wanted to be an adult as soon as possible, but when I came to be an adult there was a lot of responsibilities. So this made me a little scared.
Q: What is the age that you look most forward to?
A: 25 years of age. It is that age when you begin to appear like you are actually an adult. I became an adult not too long ago so I still seem like a child now, but when I turn 25, won't my appearance mature a lot more? My appearance is like that of a young girl. Haha.
Q: What do you dislike hearing the most on your birthday?
A: I don't think there's anything that I dislike hearing. Actually, I like to hear about anything. Even when it is not my birthday I usually like hearing things like "Thank you. Thanks for this." When I hear these things I feel really good.
Q: What dream did your mother have which foretold your birth?
A: My mom had some kind of dream in which she saw a snake on a field of strawberries.
Q: What was your most memorable birthday?
A: I have my birthday based by following the solar calendar, while my mom has her birthday following the lunar calendar. So when I was young the birthday of my mom and I were close to each other. It would be the first time I went to a restaurant together with my family and ate spaghetti. That day was very memorable to me.
Q: What was the most special gift you received in your life?
A: I received an extraordinary bouquet of flowers. I liked that they lasted longer than others I received that withered more quickly. This had significance in my life. When I receive flowers that don't whither for a long time it gives me a special feeling to make greater effort in life.
Q: What birthday gift do you want to receive?
A: A letter. I hope that others don't forget me. I want to receive a letter with heartfelt words.
Q: If you could give yourself a whole day to celebrate your birthday, how would you want it to be like?
A: I would want to to have a meal with the entire family at home. I miss having stir-fried noodles on my birthday party, dressing up and watching movies in the evening. It should be something spectacular and not something insignificant.
Q: When you were younger, what was that thing you wished for on your birthday?
A: My most memorable wish was basically, "I want to be always happy just like I am at this moment." For some reason I want every day to feel like it was my birthday. I would feel happiness today and tomorrow if each day was like a birthday. It's a dream that is very difficult to come true. ^^
Q: Ten years from now how do you imagine your birthday to be like?
A: It would be just like any other year, but older. I hope to still be doing many activities. I would feel more relief eating whatever I want with my friends than I do now. Well...having a fan meeting would also be good. I would like to share a birthday cake with fans and talk with them.

A: IU and Taeyeon are my main role models. The two have such good voices and songs that I really like. It would be an honor to receive any birthday wishes from them.
