Girl group Lovelyz has entered into the Top 10 Taiwan albums chart following their #1 position in the Japanese Tower Records chart.
In Taiwan's Five Music weekly overseas chart (November 14th - 20th), Lovelyz's album ranked #9. This signals an intensifying interest in the group from outside of Korea.
The rookie group has debuted 2 weeks ago with their title song 'Candy Jelly Love' and have not done any overseas promotions as of yet. Obtaining this level of popularity in other countries for a group that has not stepped outside of Korea is unusual.
A representative of Woollim Entertainment stated, "We have started receiving love calls from record labels and media companies abroad. Lovelyz is grateful to their overseas fans who have shown interest in them while they are still devoted in their domestic activities. At the moment the group will focus on their domestic fans, and we are currently planning meetings with them."
