It might seem like once again APink will continue to show their usual color. However, doing this is difficult.
Girl groups that stay innocent are in between two types of extremes. One is those groups that keep a sexy image, and the other is those groups that constantly change concepts. APink wants to show a new look that has not been seen before. However, APink realizes that a huge change for them might be very risky. They may face backlash from fans and the public if they don’t meet their expectations. At the same time, APink wants a new image that is not merely just a slight change from their current one.
This time they will make a complete 180 degree turn and show us another transformation; this will obviously be difficult. An official from their company said, "Since Shinsadong Tiger has worked with APink for a long time and has given them their color and appeal, he is the best one to bring out from each individual member their own natural charm." In other words, they are betting on the least risky choice.
Their last song, LUV, was especially a big success for them, as it was able to achieve an All Kill or perfect scores in the music charts. It became the hit song of December of last year. It looks like APink will become the shining star among the summer girl group comebacks.
